Relational Coaching

“The best relationships start with a great relationship to yourself.”

- Victoria de Onis

Is this you?

> You seek to have your wants and needs met.

> You’re hungry for greater playfulness, intimacy, and satisfaction.

> You’re a romantic couple, a professional partnership, friends, siblings, or a parent-child struggling to connect but this relationship matters to both of you.

> You are at a crossroads and seek to clarify if this relationship is right for you.

> You know you need to talk about the challenges but you haven’t had a productive conversation.

Imagine…

> Getting your wants and needs fulfilled.

> Trusting your partner.

> Assertively speaking your truth in a way that what you say can be heard.

> Having the necessary relational skills so you can cherish the person in front of you with greater fondness and admiration.

> Understanding what makes for a great relationship and how we choose people who help us achieve greater balance.

> Calmly and confidently discussing what’s festering below the surface, so your relationship can flourish and expand.

> Deepening or repairing trust after an emotional or physical betrayal.

> Exploring what would be possible with a “We” orientation.

Together, we …

> Slow down and pause to separate fact from your subjective reality.

> Establish your new baseline for how you relate.

> Build your skills to articulate boundaries, make requests and effectively negotiate for “We” alignment.

> Expand your capacity to empathize with curiosity, communicate, and understand each other.

> Identify roles each of you occupy to make explicit what creates balance that sustains the relationship.

> Achieve greater authenticity, congruence, and intimacy within yourself and in your relationship.

RELATIONSHIP COACHING

Most of us lack the necessary skills that support enduring interpersonal relationships. In Relationship Coaching, you will learn to assert your needs, navigate conflict, and end your dysfunctional relationship patterns for good.

As your coach, I will guide you in the exploration and discovery of what’s most important to you, your partner, and your relationship. Together we will uncover and reimagine what’s possible and explore alternative approaches to more gracefully embrace what is and what could be.

Relationship coaching is customized to meet you, your partner, and the relationship in its current state.

A dedicated student and life-long learner in relational intimacy, I join clients in the pursuit of understanding and holding reverence for the rich complexity of our differences with curiosity, respect (healthy boundaries), and generosity.

Here are some outcomes to expect from our work together:

  • A deeper understanding of yourself and your partner

  • Learn how to give voice to unarticulated expectations and achieve alignment around shared goals, wants, and needs

  • Understand and establish a structure for roles and responsibilities

  • Actionable frameworks and new skills for communicating more effectively

  • Articulate your high dream for this relationship

  • A deeper, more connected relationship than you imagined was possible

  • "Victoria brings an unbiased approach to digging up things that we otherwise wouldn’t talk about or know that we needed to talk about. She reflects things back to us that challenge our perspectives about how we think about something. Sometimes we are hesitant, but we have found it’s better to air it out and deal with what feels uncomfortable directly. Having a neutral third party really helps with that...We have a more trusting relationship than we knew was possible. Relationship coaching and tools Victoria shared helped to build that trust and deeper level of understanding each other...We find relationship coaching incredibly valuable. It’s why we keep coming back.”

“Relational intimacy lives in the space of deep democracy. There is nothing harshness can accomplish that loving firmness can’t do better.”
